Dreamery

Today while practicing my cello, I remembered a few notes of a song that I heard played on the piano about a decade ago.  As I picked out the notes on the cello, I mulled over the name - it's something German - starts with a T... hmmm: "Traumerei" by Schumann!  This is one movement from his broader work Children's Scenes.  I thought, "If only it were written for the cello."  Then I found it (thanks Youtube)!.

It's soo much more than I remembered.  Simplicity, yet complicated introspection. Blinding light, yet a little dark.  High contrast, yet diffuse.  Without further ado...
